According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, over 4,500 people drowned each year in the United States. That is an average of 11 drowning deaths per day. More children ages 1-4 die from drowning than any other cause of death. Drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional injury death for children ages 5-14. Water Safety and the the teaching of life skills such as swimming is important in helping change these statistics.
We welcome swimmers starting at age 4 through our Mini Waves Lessons for preschooler toddlers. It’s the perfect introduction to water safety, confidence, and comfort for our new swimmers.
All group lessons are 30 minutes, while private lessons may range from 30 to 60 minutes depending on the skill level.
We offer lessons year-round, with options for weekly classes thru a monthly subscription. We also offer private lessons, clinics, intensives, and Water Safety Presentations throughout the year. Right now, we only offer lessons on Saturdays and Sundays.
Our monthly rate is $175, which includes 4 swim lessons. In months affected by pool scheduling or holidays, the number of lessons may vary, and pricing will be prorated accordingly based on the number of lessons offered.
We do not offer makeup lessons for absences due to personal reasons. However, if you reach out in advance, we’ll do our best to accommodate a makeup class based on class availability.
We offer free evaluations for anyone looking to join our academy. Please reach out to NewWaveAquatics@outlook.com to schedule an evaluation.
