Welcome to New Wave Aquatics (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using our services, including swim lessons, lifeguarding courses, water safety instructor courses, staffing services, and purchasing merchandise (collectively referred to as the “Services”), you (“you” or “Client”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Registration Services:

To participate in our courses, you may be required to create an account with New Wave Aquatics via https://app.amilia.com/store/en/new-wave-aquatics/shop/programs When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and all activities under your account.

Attendance & Punctuality:

Clients are expected to arrive on time for all swim lessons, courses, and staffing services. If you are late, the session may be shortened or rescheduled, depending on availability.
No-shows without prior notice may result in the forfeiture of the session or course fees.

Booking and Cancellations:

Swim lessons, courses, and staffing services are subject to availability.
Bookings for swim lessons and courses must be made in advance through our website or by contacting our staff.
Withdrawals and/or class cancellations are not guaranteed to be refunded but we will try our best to accommodate your needs.

Ordering & Payment:

Merchandise is available for purchase through our website or in-person
By purchasing merchandise, you agree to pay the specified price for the item(s) and applicable taxes, as well as any shipping and handling fees.
Payment is processed securely through the payment methods provided on our websites.

Returns & Exchange:

Merchandise returns and exchanges are subject to the terms outlined in our Return And Refund Policy below.
Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging for a full refund or exchange.

Liability & Assumption of Risk:

New Wave Aquatics is not responsible for any loss, or damage to property, except as may be required by law. Clients may be asked to sign a waiver of liability before participating in certain activities.

Intellectual Properties:

All content on the New Wave Aquatics website, including text, graphics, logos, is the property of New Wave Aquatics and is protected by copyright laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission from us.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

New Wave Aquatics reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website with the updated date. By continuing to use our services after any changes are made, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms and Conditions.

Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing New Wave Aquatics for your swimming, lifeguarding, and water safety training needs. We are committed to providing high-quality services and merchandise. Below, you will find our policy regarding refunds and returns.

Swim Lessons and Certification Courses:

Swim Lessons: If you need to cancel or reschedule a swim lesson, you must notify us at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. Failure to notify us within this timeframe may result in ineligibility for make-up classes.
Courses: For lifeguarding and water safety instructor courses, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the course start date for a refund. Cancellations made after this period are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
Refunds: If a course or lesson is canceled by New Wave Aquatics (e.g., due to instructor illness, low enrollment, or other unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered the opportunity to reschedule.

No-show Policy

If you fail to show up for a scheduled lesson, course, or staffing service without prior notice, you will not be eligible for a refund and are less likely to be eligible for make-up classes. We encourage you to contact us if you cannot attend to reschedule your session.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late for a lesson or course, the session may be shortened or rescheduled depending on availability. Refunds will not be provided for time lost due to late arrival.

Staffing Services:

Cancellation by Client

If you need to cancel staffing services, including lifeguard staffing or event staffing, you must notify us at least 7 days before the scheduled service. Cancellations made after this period may result in a cancellation fee.

Cancellation by New Wave Aquatics

In the event that we need to cancel or reschedule staffing services, we will notify you promptly. You will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule the service.

Merchandise Returns & Exchanges:

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

Merchandise may be returned or exchanged within 7 days from the date of purchase, provided the items are in their original, unused condition with all tags and packaging intact. For hygiene and safety reasons, some items (such as swimwear or water equipment) may not be eligible for return or exchange unless defective (i.e. number of days)

How to initiate a return or exchange

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at newwaveaquatics@outlook.com with your order number and a description of the issue.

Refunds for Merchandise

Once the returned merchandise is received and inspected, we will process a refund to the original payment method. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for return shipping charges unless the item is defective or we made an error in fulfilling the order.
